Serve NC

Week of August 1-8 | ServeNC is an opportunity for every NC Baptist church to love its community in Jesus' name through service projects. Please read below to learn more and register to serve.
This year, our Missions Committee has organized three opportunities to serve:


1. Greensboro Urban Ministry: Help serve an evening meal to those in need on August 3 at the Potter's House Community Kitchen. FABC will sponsor a meal, and 8 volunteers are needed to serve the community at 6pm.


2. Doris Henderson Newcomers School: Help prepare classrooms for the new school year on Wednesday, August 5th during Serve NC week. Volunteers will help sort material, plant flowers, etc. We have a morning shift (9am-12pm) and a late afternoon shift (3pm-6pm). FABC will provide a meal for the office and custodial staff at the school that day, and morning shift volunteers are invited to stay for lunch.


3. The Pregnancy Network: Help host a baby shower on Saturday, August 8th from 2-4 pm to bless expecting mothers in the Greensboro community and support this ministry. You can participate by giving a gift, helping serve at the shower, and/or attending the shower. The Pregnancy Network uses baby gifts on a regular basis by providing them to mothers who participate in their baby classes.
